Applecross house walks

The walks around the Applecross House policies were opened to the public in 1997 by the Applecross Trust. Some paths were restored and a new network created with grant assistance for the enjoyment of the general public. Since then many people have enjoyed the beautiful environment of the Applecross estate. The trustees of the estate hope to expand the network of paths in future. Most of the long distance paths were originally the main overland routes between the different crofting townships around the coastline, and are again in regular use for recreational purposes.
